Was a success! Below is the full wrap-up, but our group was six people in all, which isn't shabby considering it's the first one I've ever known to happen here. Hopefully our numbers will grow next time, andmaybe I can remember to bring sunscreen.
I arrived at the park at 9:35am, at which point I found a park bench right by where I thought we were supposed to meet. 10 rolls around, and still no people, as shown below.
Patiently waited on my park bench a little while longer, telling myself it was still early. That festival that they were setting up might be delaying people. Twenty minutes later, I decide to wander about to see if I can find anyone. Lo and behold, I find the people.
They were hidden behind a tree, a place where hid from the direct sunlight and drew. From our our secret forest enclosure, we spotted a girl with a neon pink feather boa, who dropped a single feather that will be cherished. Below is an artistic rendering of the magnificent creature (the boa, obviously)
We wandered into the food court at Eau Claire Market, where there was a suspicious indoor playground. After we finished eating, a few people wanted to leave for elsewhere, probably to engage in other shenanigans and pretend they did not know us. So, we took the obligatory group picture:
