So, i herd y no liek SOPA...

Journal Entry: Mon Jan 30, 2012, 10:51 AM

Guess what?

Canada's got an equivalent, due to the whole ACTA thing, no doubt.

It's called Bill C-11.

Here are some articles:

yahoo.com

Michael Geist's Blog has tons of information on it, and how it relates to SOPA, and ACTA. This post is a good one.

Digital Copyright Canada has a good stack of resources as well.

The important part to remember, kids, is that these things wouldn't be happening without ACTA.

AND NOW WE BOUNCE!

There's a whole list of similar groups. Really quite sad... It's obsession, and the worst part is some regular Joe's are supporting it. :(

It's not hate on the internet, it's attempts to regulate it for copyright reasons. And it's international due to ACTA.

:grump: Well yes its not hate, but its not exactly love either  Its like being super strict on the internet, which isn't great considering the internet doesn't do anything wrong. :noes: Only the people who makes the websites due.

That's the word I meant to say instead of Continental. :grump:

Yes, because they have all been involved in ACTA.
